This major Custodian Bank outsourced the majority of their permanent recruitment processes to Origin HR in 2005.

An initial audit of existing recruitment methodologies was undertaken in consultation with the client, and led to Origin implementing a direct recruitment strategy utilising online methodologies.

Initiatives included Origin HR’s specialist in-house corporate communications department undertaking a review of the success rates of market standard job boards.  This resulted in the selection of, and working with, the most applicable job boards for the Custodian Bank’s target audience, substantially reducing recruitment costs.

At the same time, agency satisfaction levels with the Custodian Bank actually increased - despite their vacancy loss.

Origin HR implemented active "preferred supplier list" management, including regular meetings with agency line managers. This allowed the consultants to get “under the skin” of each vacancy and hiring area, ensuring recruitment agencies received accurate job specifications to search against – thereby increasing candidate conversion rates and increasing agency satisfaction levels.
