The City Fringe Pipeline Program

Once a month, Origin HR’s dedicated diversity recruitment manager meets with our network of six schools and universities on the City fringe. These visits vary from running an interactive quiz encouraging awareness of, and interest in, City careers to liaising with head teachers and careers advisors to promote specific vacancies for school leavers and graduate recruitment programmes.

Mentoring For the Future

Origin staff mentor a number of final GSCE year students from Camden Girls School in order to raise young women’s aspirations towards a career in financial services and the corporate world.

Business Traineeships

Origin HR works with government and community bodies, including Career Academy and the Brokerage, to offer work experience and traineeship programmes to school leavers and graduates from local neighbouring boroughs.  Recently, Origin HR has formed a partnership with Tower Hamlet Employment Solutions to ensure graduate recruitment programmes are targeted at a wider audience.

Inclusive Advertising & Marketing

Utilising our advertising agency expertise Origin HR works with specific media that specialise in diversity, such as youreable.com, gay.com, womenintechnology.co.uk, workingmums.co.uk and Tower Hamlet’s Employment Solutions. Origin HR also produces regular research and articles for national newspapers to ensure the financial services sector is viewed as an accessible working environment to all individuals from all backgrounds. Origin HR clients benefit from our partnerships in order to increase their own ratio of diversity hires and, as such, we offer a diversity monitoring service to our clients to ensure their progress in diversity recruitment can be tracked.
